Woking

Sandy Lane occupies a hugely convenient and peaceful position midway between Woking and West Byfleet and is therefore very well situated to take advantage of both towns. Both Woking and West Byfleet have a varied and eclectic array of bars, cafes and restaurants that cater for almost every conceivable taste, including a Waitrose in West Byfleet. Woking also has a great many shopping opportunities as well as a multi screen cinema and the New Victoria theatre in the Peacocks centre. Woking town centre has one of the best train stations in the South East for the commuter and runs a fast and very frequent service into Waterloo and is within walking distance of the house. The area as a whole has a huge number of educational options in both the private and the state sector and a short walk away is Pyrford common with its children's play area and open spaces for dog walking. There are also many fine golf courses and gyms in Woking and Pyrford within easy reach of the house while the wider area is surrounded by miles of open countryside, all of which make for excellent walking and cycling opportunities.
