The house sits in a hugely sought after and incredibly convenient location in south Woking that is within just a few minutes walk of the town centre and station. Woking is a busy and contemporary town, thanks to very significant recent investment and has a wide and eclectic array of bars, cafes and restaurants. There is also a good deal of shopping to be had in the town, no more so than in the Peacocks centre which is also home to the New Victoria theatre and the multi screen cinema. Woking mainline station is widely regarded as one of the very best in the South East and runs an exceptional service, both in terms of its speed and its frequency, into Waterloo and from where there is also an excellent coach service to Heathrow airport. A short drive in the other direction will take you into the beautiful county town of Guildford with its historic, cobbled high street, lined with period buildings, while in and around Woking there are numerous very fine schools in both the private and the state sector. The area as a whole is surrounded by miles of woodland and open countryside which makes for excellent walking and cycling. Within easy reach of the house there are a number of highly regarded golf courses.
