Cardinal Place is one block that makes up the new central development, originally completed back in 2012 by Barratt homes. As the name suggests it is located right at the heart of the town with all the delights Woking has to offer practically at your doorstep, including that of its famous mainline railway station. It makes Woking an ideal destination for anyone commuting to London, with frequent trains on a direct line straight into Waterloo with a total journey time of approximately 24 minutes. As a town Woking is currently part way through a regeneration process, seeing it take on a far more contemporary look and feel. The most recent addition of this is Victoria Square which completed in 2022, brining the town a flagship Marks and Spencer and famous dance school Italia Conti but also cleverly linking the two previous shopping centres. Around the same time both the multi screen cinema and New Victoria Theatre were renovated, with the latter being a huge pull for West End Shows and regularly receiving the big names in comedy.
