Woking

Cardinal Place is part of the New Central development and as the name suggests is located right in the centre of Woking town, with both the town centre and mainline railway station close by. In recent years the town has been undergoing a significant programme of modernisation transforming into a far more interesting and contemporary place to live. All along Commercial Way is a string of well-known bars and restaurants while in the Peacocks Shopping Centre has a food court at the lower level, and provides access to a multi-screen cinema and New Victoria Theatre. The theatre is a huge pull as its one of the largest outside of London and regularly receives both West Ends shows as well as the big names in stand up. The most recent addition to the town is the Victoria Square development with its flagship M&S store and Hilton hotel complete with a Skybar that offers spectacular views. The railway station here is what really puts the town on the map, offering a direct line service into London Waterloo of around 24 minutes. It also offers direct lines to Portsmouth, Bournemouth, Southampton plus an efficient coach service to Heathrow and is regarded as offering one of the best commutes in the whole of the South East.
