Nankeville Court is one block of the new central development built by Barratt homes back in 2011, and as the name suggests is positioned centrally to the town of Woking. It's location is highly convenient for not just the local shops, but more importantly the mainline railway station which is what really puts Woking on the map. It offers one of the best commutes in the whole of the south east, with frequent trains on a direct line straight to Waterloo in just 24 minutes. It also has direct line services to Bournemouth, Portsmouth, Southampton and Basingstoke, as well as a highly efficient coach service to London Heathrow airport. In recent years the town has been part of major redevelopment works transforming it into a far more interesting and contemporary destination. The most recent addition to this is Victoria Square which was completed in 2022, adding a flagship Marks and Spencer and Hilton Hotel complete with sky bar that offers spectacular panoramic views. The development became the new home for the prestigious performing arts academy Italia Conti. Whilst it conveniently linked the existing shopping centres it also upgraded the carpark to a local landmark with what is believed to be the country’s largest living wall. Around the same time both the multi-screen cinema and New Victoria Theatre were also renovated, with the latter being a huge pull for West End Shows and big names in standup comedy as is one of the largest receiving house theatres outside London.
