Having owned and run Burns & Webber estate agents for over 17 years, in 2024 we rebranded our estate agency in Farnham to Curchods Estate Agents, to further establish our connection to the largest independent estate agency in Surrey with access to a network of 25 offices.
The office is led by Branch Manager Martin Hunt, supported by Sales Manager Laura Paris and Lettings Manager Matthew Gwyer, with Prime Partner Tim Abbott advising on the marketing of higher value homes across the surrounding villages.

Martin started his Estate agency career in 2005 and has never looked back. He has been working in the Curchods group for over 15 years having started as a negotiator in the Farnham branch in 2010. Martin regularly receives feedback that he was the only agent that was honest with our clients from the very first meeting. Martin regularly is heard saying that he would rather not win the business at all if it means twisting the truth or offering him bad advice and this has meant he has a reputation for being the go to man for straight taking, practical advice to get our clients moved. There is nothing in the house moving process that Martin hasn't seen and successfully negotiated and the massively high number of clients that come back to him when its time to sell again is truly a credit to him.
Kate and Martin were extremely helpful during the process. There were a number of legal hurdles to overcome and Kate did a great job keeping me informed on any progress and liaising with the seller (a receivership company) to ensure things kept moving along. Post completion Kate has always answered any further questions I had promptly and continued to provide a great service. Would highly recommend.
